🗓️ Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi

❤️ Day 2: Tbilisi City Tour
After breakfast sightseeing tour of the old city, during which we will visit the Metekhi church, Narikala fortress, Abanotubani- district of sulfur baths, Sioni cathedral, Sharden street, Anchiskhati church. After dinner*- free time. Recommended places to visit: ethnographic museum in the open air, sulfur baths.* In the evening, welcome to the restaurant of Georgian national cuisine.* OvernightinTbilisi.
🍷 Day 3: Tbilisi – Korsha – Shatili
Early in the morning drive to completely different world – Khevsureti, where traditions and customs are as severe as the countryside itself. Here you still find the mixture between Georgian Orthodox Christianity and pre-Christian cults. From the Zhinvali reservoir, the road runs along the gorge of Pshavis Aragvi. The first village of Khevsureti is Korsha. Here we shall visit the ethnographic museum, where the exhibits of the 18th -19th centuries are kept, describing the life and customs of Khevsur. From the village Korsha we shall head towards the Datvisjvari Pass. On the way we shall pass the villages where there are the main shrines of Khevsureti – Gudani and Khakhmati cross-icons. After these villages we go up to the pass of Datvisjvari (1678 m above sea level). The pass divides Khevsureti into two parts: Piriketa and Piraketa Khevsureti. After lunch we shall visit the village Kistani and continue our way to Shatili. After arrival in Shatili and accommodation in the guest house, we shall visit the local towers – fortresses which are included in the UNESCO list. In the evening Khevsurian dinner and overnight stay in Shatili.
⛪ Day 4: Shatili – Mutso – Gudauri
After breakfast, we set off towards the village-fortress Mutso. On the road, not far from the Georgian-Chechen border, we shall see Anatori Tombs. The inhabitants of the village Anatori, in the XVIII century died out due to typhoid fever. Next we shall visit the village – fortress Mutso (1880m.) Mutso is built on vertical terraces of the rock,where up to 30 residential buildings, 4 military castles, and the famous fortress Torgva. After visiting Mutso, we return to Shatili. We shall have a rest, lunch and then then trip to the Khevi region – Kazbegi. We drive along the Military-Georgian road and in the Mtiuleti province we visit Ananuri fortress. We arrive at the ski resort of Gudauri, which is located on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Range. Accommodation, rest and dinner in the hotel. Overnight in Gudauri.
🌊 Day 5: Gugauri – Stepancminda and its vicinity – Juta – Gudauri
After breakfast, we drive to Stepancminda. Upon arrival in Stepancminda, we go up to Gergeti Holy Trinity Church, which is located at an altitude of 2,047 m above sea level. Next we will visit the village of Juta.
The village is located at 2200 meters above the sea level and is cut off from the outside world for months due to snow.
We’ll visit a local family and learn about the cheese-making process. Traditional cheese-making practices are particularly well-preserved in mountain villages. For lunch, we stop at a local family.
In the afternoon we will attend a felt-making master class. The old technology of wool and felt processing is well preserved in the mountains.
Overnight in Gudauri.
📸 Day 6: Gudauri – Tianeti – Telavi
After breakfast drive to the province of Kakheti. We will deviate from the standard tourist route and, having passed the city of Tianeti, we will arrive in the city of Telavi. Explore Kakheti region, known as a birthplace of viticulture and wine-making. Ancient Georgian traditional Qvevri winemaking is listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. We visit the workshop, where Kvevri (pottery) is made. Tasting wine and chacha and have a dinner.
Overnight stay in Telavi.
🏰 Day 7: Telavi – Abano Pass – Omalo
Early in the morning we go to the north-east of Georgia – to the province of Tusheti. Tusheti is located on the northern slope of a large Caucasian ridge. The villages of Tusheti are located between 1900 m and 2400 m. above sea level. On the way, we will admire the stunning views and the waterfall and through the Abano pass (2926 m above sea level) we will arrive in the village Omalo – center of Tusheti. From late October to May, the road to Tusheti, which passes only over the Abano Pass, is closed. During this time, it is impossible to get to Tusheti by any other means of transport except helicopters.
Omalo is divided into two parts: Upper Omalo and Lower Omalo.
After accommodation into the guest house we will rest and have Tushetian dinner.

Day 8: Omalo – Keselo – Dartlo – Omalo
After breakfast we shall visit Upper Omalo; The historical region of Omalo-Keselo – is a fortress village. Until these days, seven towers are preserved. In one of the towers of Keselo is an ethnographic museum, where household implements and military weapons of Tushetian people are represented.
Than we shall head to Piriketa Tusheti, in the village Dartlo, which is located at an altitude of 2000 m. above sea level. The village Dartlo is one of the unique treasures of Georgian architecture. After rest and late picnic-lunch, we will rutern to Omalo. In the evening we have dinner.

Day 9: Omalo – Shenako – Abano Pass – Telavi
After breakfast we will explore Lower Omalo, or rather the beautiful village Shenako. Shenako is located near the border with Dagestan, at an altitude of 1800-2100 meters above sea level. Shenako is known for its traditional houses, stone architecture, and the Church of St. George.
After the trip, we will return to Omalo, have lunch and leave for Telavi via the Abano Pass. If desired, you will have the opportunity to visit the thermal baths of Torgva.
Arrival in Telavi in the late afternoon and check-in at the hotel.

Day 10: Telavi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi
After breakfast drive to the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia – Mtskheta, visit to UNESCO World Heritage Monuments – Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. After lunch drive to Tbilisi and hotel accommodation.
Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 11: Departure
Departure from Tbilisi; Transfer to the airport
