After breakfast visit to the academy of Gelati, the center of medieval culture, founded by King David Agmashenebeli in the 11th century. Next, we shall visit the Prometheus caves, famous for their centuries-old stalactites and underwater river. After lunch* we shall head for the province of Samtskhe-Javakheti, which is the cradle of the royal dynasty of Bagration, the birthplace of the genius Shota Rustaveli; the land where the foundations of the Georgian state were born. Accommodation in a hotel. Overnight stay in Akhaltsikhe.

Rabati – Vardzia – Khertvisi – Paravani Lake – Tbilisi

After breakfast we shall visit the historical part of the city of Akhaltsikhe – Rabati, where the palace of the Pasha of Akhaltsikhe, the Ottoman mosque, caravanserai and other attributes of the fortified city are located. After visiting Rabati, we shall make our way towards the rock- hewn town and the monastery complex of Vardzia (12th century), carved in the time of Queen Tamar. After lunch* visit the medieval fortress of Khertvisi and head towards Tbilisi. On the way we shall see the most beautiful lake Paravani, which is located at an altitude of 2,075 m above sea level. Arrival in Tbilisi. Hotel accommodation. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

After breakfast sightseeing tour around Tbilisi; Sights of the city: Metekhi and Anchiskhati churches, Narikala fortress, Sioni cathedral, Abanotubani, Sharden street, Anchiskhati church, medieval streets of the old city. After lunch* we shall visit gold fund of the State Museum of Georgia. After visiting the museum, you will have free time. Dinner* at the Georgian National Cuisine Restaurant, where the folklore ensemble will perform. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Tbilisi – Tsinandali – Bodbe – Sighnaghi – Tbilisi

A trip to Kakheti – the region of viticulture and winemaking. First wi will visit Tsinandali, the family estate of princes Chavchavadze. Excursion around the house-museum and wine tasting in the wine cellar. Then we will have wine testing* and lunch* in a local winery. After all we will visit the Bodbe monastery and the medieval town Sighnaghi. After walking around the city and its fortification wall, we will return to Tbilisi.

Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Uplistsikhe – Kutaisi

After breakfast we shall go to the city-museum, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Kartli – the city of Mtskheta, which is the cradle of Christianity in Georgia. The city is listed in the list of UNESCO. We shall visit the Jvari monastery (6th-7th centuries) and the Svetitskhoveli cathedral, erected in the 11th century. After lunch* we shall make for the rock-hewn town of Uplistsikhe, dating back to the 2nd century BC. We shall see this ancient complex with residential caves, wine cellars, and an antique theater; visit the medieval basilica. Dinner* in the wine cellar, taste homemade wine and continue our way towards Kutaisi and passing the Ricoti Pass, we will arrive in Kutaisi. Overnight stay in Kutaisi.
