Borjomi is a resort town and administrative center of the region. Spa and climatic resort is located 900 meters above the sea level.
Borjomi mineral water with its curing qualities is known worldwide as the Queen of mineral waters. From XIX century,after the Russian Emperor's family built countryside residence palace here, it became very popular.

Gudauri is a ski resort located on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort is situated in the Stepantsminda District, along the Georgian Military Highway near the Cross Pass, at an elevation of 2,196 meters above sea level. Gudauri lies 120 km to the north of the capital Tbilisi. Gudauri slopes have four main tracks: slalom, giant slalom, super giant and downhill. All the tracks are approved by FIS. The total length of the track is 16 km. Hotels, guest houses, and family type smaller hotels operate in Gudauri.

Resort of Bakhmaro is located in Guria, on the western exposition slopes of Ajara-Imereti mountain range, on the latitude of Kobuleti, 2000 meters above the sea level, between dark coniferous forests and sub-Alpine meadows.
A lot of diseases are possible to cure here. Among them are: respiratory diseases, anemia, neurasthenia, lymph gland inflammation, etc.

Tskhaltubo is a spa well-known in the world which is located in Western Georgia, on 100-120 meters above the sea level. It operates throughout the year. The spa is 250 kilometers far from Tbilisi and 7 km far from Kutaisi.
Curative qualities of Tskhaltubo thermal waters are unique. Thermal waters are used for baths, inhalations and sprays. They are very effective treatment for rheumatism, bones, nerves, cardio-vascular system, skin and gynecological diseases.

A spa of Shovi, located on 1520 meters above the sea level, is noted with inimitable landscapes and mineral springs. The average temperature here in July does not top +16°C. In the vicinity of the spa there are several flowing springs of mineral water (hydrocarbon sodium and potassium mineral water) which, among the local residents, are known as sour waters. Shovi waters are effectively used to cure bile and urine ducts, while air rich with phytoncides cures respiratory organs.

On the territory of Guria, within 25 km of coastline, there are three resorts: Ureki, Shekvetili and Grigoleti.  Ureki is the most distinguished of them due to the sand on the beach which has high content of magnetite.

Abastumani is a well-known resort, located in Adigeni municipality, 28 km from Akhaltsikhe. Resort is distinguished for sound air related to dark coniferous forests. It is a focal point for treatment of tuberculosis in the Caucasus. There is a tubsanatorium, Astro-Physics Observatory, cultural and educational sites and architectural monuments in Abastumani.

Bakuriani is a mountain ski resort, located in Borjomi region. It has cold and snowy winter and long summer. There is rich vegetation (mainly forests of spruce and fir ) in Bakuriani and its environs. It is the ski center of international importance.
Bakuriani is also well-known for its botanical garden, founded in 1910, which represents a huge collection of alpine plants of highlands.
There are many different hotels and guesthouses in Bakuriani.

Beshumi is a mountain resort, which is located on the eastern knees of Arsiani mountain range, 1900 meters above the sea level. Holiday season lasts for several months – from June to September. In the environs of Beshumi tourist infrastructure is swiftly developed. This is true especially for skiing and mountain climbing.

 

Resort of Kobuleti is situated in the Black Sea belt. It has a population of over 20 thousand people. Resort is known for its comfortable climate and developed tourist infrastructure.

Resort Utsera is situated on the bank of the river Rioni, 1050 meters above the sea level. July temperature attains +17°C. Two types of salinity water flows here. Hydrocarbon sodium and potassium water cures liver and alimentary tract diseases, and water with low salinity is used for baths.
